Norbar Torque Wrench Calibration

C.S.C. Force Measurement performs Norbar torque wrench calibration with fast turn-around at affordable rates.

How often do you need to have Norbar torque wrench calibration performed? Annual calibration is the most common but if the Norbar torque wrench is heavily used than a more frequent interval might be needed. Norbar recommends a calibration interval of 5000-7000 cycles (a cycle is one click of a click wrench, or generally one measurable torque on any other type).

A good question to ask yourself - If this Norbar torque wrench went out of tolerance at the end of the calibration cycle, how many hours of work would need to be put in to find potentially non-conforming work? Is there any liability involved by having a torque wrench applying too little or too much torque?

By having an extended torque wrench calibration cycle, the number of potential problems increases very quickly. Calibration can be performed at your location or at ours, whichever is the most convenient for you.
