Description

Housed in a durable aluminum enclosure, the TI-500 FDI-02 is a wireless ready, force digital instrument capable of displaying both tension and compression force readings (plus/minus).

Equipped with a large, easy to read 0.8” LCD display, the TI-500 FDI-02 allows up to 7 multiple span calibration points in each direction for linearization, and can transmit data either on demand or continuously to a wide variety of peripheral devices via a full duplex RS-232 port or optional wireless modules (see below). The upgraded AD-02 A/D converter can collect more data points per second compared with the AD-01 contained in the TI-500 FDI-01.

  • REAL TIME MODE: the display updates force readings in real time (i.e. it can move up and down as needed) but secretly collects the peak data (+ and -)
  • POSITIVE PEAK MODE: only shows the positive peak value; however the display should update the displayed positive peak value if a new force comes along which is greater in magnitude than the previous peak force.
  • NEGATIVE PEAK MODE: only shows the negative peak value; however the display should update the displayed negative peak value if a new force comes along which is greater in magnitude than the previous peak force
