The Chatillon TCM 201 and Chatillon TCD 200 Tester models were manufactured by AMETEK under the Chatillon brand have been out of production for over nine years and are considered obsolete by the manufacturer. (Refer to the AMETEK obsolescence statement links.) These testers are no longer supported for spare parts. Should your tester experience a problem, your system will be down until it can be replaced which could cause expensive down time and prompt difficult shipment decisions if you use your tester to approve product shipments.It will be a more seamless transition and eliminate down time if you can budget for a replacement system now or apply leftover end-of-year budget money.

Option 1: Mark-10 Model ESM303 Motorized Test Stand

Mark-10 ESM303 & Force gauge
  • This ESM303 tester is highly configurable for both tension and compression testing applications and offers more force capacity at 300 lbf (1.5 kN) and features a simple-to-use controller to configure and store test programs.
  • This tester utilizes hand-held force gauges to measure force. It can be configured with a wide range of replacement Mark-10 force gauges, and it can also accommodate Chatillon force gauges.
  • The ESM303 has 18 inches (457 mm) of crosshead travel and 3 inches (76 mm) of throat depth.
  • This tester can be configured with software to collect force and travel data to plot and analyze results.
  • It can be configured with a wide array of grips and fixtures to perform a wide variety of test applications.
  • This tester is a great replacement that will enable you to replicate your current test application, expand your testing capabilities over your current tester, and make it much easier to collect and analyze data.

Option 2: Chatillon Model CS225 Motorized Test Stand
  • The CS225 tester is highly configurable for both tension and compression testing applications, has a force capacity of 225 lbf (1 kN), and features a touch screen computer to configure and store test programs.
  • This tester utilizes load cells to measure force and are available at various force ranges.
  • The CS225 has 19.7 inches (500 mm) of crosshead travel and 7.1 inches (180 mm) of throat depth.
  • This tester includes software to collect force and travel data to plot and analyze results.
  • It can also be configured with a wide array of grips and fixtures to perform a wide variety of test applications.
  • This tester is a higher-level replacement that offers a simple user interface to configure test programs to replicate your current test application, and offers capabilities to expand your testing capabilities well beyond your current tester, and make it much easier to collect and analyze data.
